APPROVAL OF THE MIDDLE SCHOOL EXCELLENCE GRANT PROPOSAL TO THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF SARASOTA COUNTY FOR DISTRICT MIDDLE SCHOOLS
Description
NON-COMPETITIVE: Grant funds of $470,000 will support college and career readiness for all students by providing two district-level program specialists who will develop and provide training to math and science teachers focused on implementation of state and national standards and the iEngage lesson design.
Recommendation
That the Middle School Excellence grant proposal be approved.
